I Have been asked by many why Bireli is not playing the Le QuecumBar festival in London here are the reasons

He is notoriously unreliable - I don't need the stress
He is way too expensive for a non profit festival - his manager charges like a wounded bull!
There are many others that want to come and help support what we are doing why chase those who may not even turn up and disrespects his audience

How about supporting the guys who do turn up and do want to spend their time helping other players and do care how the music is carried on and passed on !

Anyway hope to see some of you here - 11 workshops arranged musicians get all the money learn form the source and spread the word

It would be nice to have Bireli - and Angelo and Tchavolo and ...and.... Frankly, I think we're lucky to have the opportunity we're getting. I'm coming from Glasgow for the weekend and really looking forward to it. Ideally I'd have them all come to my house - including Bireli - and have them play in my living room, but Le Q's as close as I'll get and looking at the line up ..well.. I can live without Bireli.
