my goodness, i'm so very sorry to hear about your health... I know what you mean, I used to think I was invicible too, and I'm paying for it very dearly right now with my left knee ( I used to run 3-8 miles a day).

Thanks, Dennis - you of all people, were so much a part of my experience - I've said it before, but, stripped of sentimentality, I do mean it - I'm a grateful "virtual" student, thank you for your teaching and music. I do hope to get better, part of the reason I'm hanging on the guitar, after all. Many thanks, man.

God, sorry about your knee. Take care of that body. Amazing how much "health" affects so much else - for so long, I thought I could push through pain, and did so, stupidly, even when I was collapsing and unable to walk, off the dojo mat. If we could have years back, etc....

Stay in good health, Dennis. And all - best wishes for a good year to all of you.

Gianina, no, I've decided to hang on to the guitar, for several reasons, not the least of which is that when it came down to it, it really got to my boy, the prospect of my selling it. Sorry for any confusion (see above).

Other things still available, though - some books, and DVD, which I think are all a good value at the price, if you (or anyone) could use them. Thanks for your good wishes, and interest.

I'm glad you're hanging on to it; music is therapy - I'm a former dancer and long time musician...keep that guitar, find a way to play it and use it to heal...there's a ton of info available on this topic and I'll be happy to guide you to find what you need if you'd like,

    hang in there!

Yes, hang in there. My spirits were shattered along with the 5th metacarpal in my right hand a while back. After several weeks in a cast and a few months rehab I've since bounced back. I can only imagine what Django himself must have went through...
