Make a 360 degree video of a jam session...

This is going to change how jams are recorded on video. If you put one of these into the middle of a jam then the video it takes is of everyone simultaneously . Pretty neat technology that would work well for recording jams.
The Sony Bloggie

The camcorder features image-stabilisation technology, to reduce camera shake, and face-detection to ensure people remain front and centre in a shot. It also boasts a lens that can rotate through 360 degrees, which Sony says will make it easy to “capture life from any angle”.

Rather than twirl around on the spot to capture a panoramic view, the user clips a little circular lens onto the top of the camera, which captures a moving 360 degree image.

Wonder if it rotates automatically? Could make a pretty dizzying video, huh.

It doesn't "rotate". While you watch the recorded video it allows you to scan around with your mouse while you watch the video so that you are able to see any direction around the camera. I saw it demonstrated on TV... is pretty awesome. So, basically, if you were to record a jam with it, after its recorded you can watch whomever in the jam that you want to whenever you want to.

Now, that would be nice to have. That would be a great tool to have, avoids all that handshaking stuff, with my handheld.
