Soo, I've been practicing the gypsy picking technique for a while now, but I've still got one little thing I worry about when playing.
The thing is.. when I play (eg. a downstroke) I tend to slide and rest the first knuckle of my index finger (u know, the one behind the nail.. I have no idea what to call it
) on the adescent strings, when I pick. This isn't causing any real noise or something, but it sure hurt in the beginning. I now have a bit of a hard spot on that knuckle there, but still..
So I was wondering, is this something that is inevitable, is this really a "no-no" - and if so.. How can I remedy it?
anyway, thanx in advance for taking the time to answer!
