I stumbled upon a fantastic gig on the 'Rural Channel' last week (don't know why I was on there) by the band 'The time jumpers'. The playing was incredible-great twists on tunes that we all know and love and played to an appreciative audience in a club called the station Inn. The band consists of mostly session players from the Nashville circuit including the amazing yoddling Ranger Doug. If you have never heard them before I can't recommend highly them enough. Heres the wiki info. Sorry if this is old news but it takes a fair bit of research to find out about this kind of stuff over here.

The Time Jumpers are stunning... the personnel varies some from week to week around a core of regulars, but they are the top-flight session cats in Nashville. They've been doing this for years just because they love to play. Dawn Sears can break your heart in 8 bars or less.
Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints!
