Not to be a weenie, but I just want to point out that this thread started out talking about rhythm guitar solos, which are different from the chordal kind of solos that Kress and Bucky recorded.

But yeah, that chord solo stuff is super cool, too.

I understand completely, and that's why I offered Polarity. Joe Beck's solos are strictly within the constraints of rhythm.
