What a GREAT album - "A Gypsy Legend" - 2002. Times Square Records. I've posted about this cd a couple times in past years.
Saban wrote 700 songs and released more than 20 albums.
He made a tour in USA in 2004 about a year after I got hooked on Django's music Wish I had known about him then and would have traveled anywhere in the US to see him.
Married and had four daughters. Died 8 June 2008.
I never let this cd go unlistened for more than a few months as it is that good, though not locked into the standard "pompe" rhythm.
