I recently had inquiries about teaching GJ to childrens.
So I was wondering if anyone of you had already used Romane's book :
"L'esprit Manouche Debutant"
For those who don't know, Romane has a version of L'esprit Manouche written for children.

It is supposed to be designed for parents / teachers to teach childrens their first steps in GJ guitar.

What did you think about it ?

I wouln't know about that one for children, but i own L'esprit Manouche and overall its a good book.
The great thing about it is that it explains like 90% of the gypsy jazz theory and feel, and it has really a lot of material. It explains really well arpeggios, scales, licks, harmony, structure, etc.
The only bad things are the shitty translation, it doesn't explain technique (but Michael does in his book) and does not have a chord / shape section that other books have where you can find the common jazz manouche chord shapes.

This one is an advanced book for grown-ups.
The one I am talking about is dedicated to teaching / coaching children ("Debutants") and familiarizing them with the style.
