Here is a link:

Anybody try one of these? Good bad indifferent? Are these made in China, Korea?

They look to be pretty nice for the coin, maybe not.
"Can we change it to red?" Next day -" it has to be white".

it's an x-braced archtop with a 650mm scale....probably not the best guitar if you want a Gypsy sound. I looks like it's pretty much just an arcthop dressed up to look like a Gypsy guitar. Could be fun but will be a different sound for sure...

Based on the photos, its looks like he(Raines) made have purchased unfinished inventory of the Draleon Samois 8000 from the now defunct Century Strings company coming out of China. Had his logo decaled onto headstock as the Draleon had nothing there. I had a Samois 8000. Beautiful construction and materials, but I had to do extensive set-up work to get it to play properly. If you search this forum I wrote about it years ago. Once the work was done it was a righteous archtop. No gypsy sound at all, but very good acoustically. Century Strings was started by the guys who originally started Eastman, so there are many similarities. You can look around and get a Samois 8000 for probably $1500 new. I bought an inexpensive 7 string Raines close-out about two years ago, its now a project guitar in a box in my basement!
