Up for sale is a Sennheiser MKH40 P48 condsenser mic in perfect working condition. There is a small indentation on the top (grille, or mesh) of the mic but does not affect performance...and is actually quite difficult to see. Otherwise it's in excellent condition with no scratches, dings, etc. This is a great price on a fantastic mic folks. I am selling just the microphone, no accessories, cables or carrying cases, etc.

The MKH40 has a large number of applications and works amazingly well with selmer styled gypsy guitars. Its wide-angled, neutral directional characteristics and high level of reverse attenuation ensure an exceptionally balanced sound.FeaturesMaximum front-to-back ratio. Exceptionally low inherent self-noise. Symmetrical transducer technology ensures extremely low distortion. Transformerless and fully floating balanced output. Switchable roll-off filter to compensate for proximity effects at a distance of approx. 0.5 m. Switchable pre-attenuationBlack, anodized light metal body.

This is a great deal on a top pro level condenser microphone. Lots of great reviews on line to support it as well. Gives you more control over volume levels than clip on mics.
