Teachers in NYC

edited September 2010 in Gypsy Jazz 101 Posts: 1,238
I know Stephane is around these parts. Unfortunately, I have a day job and our schedules don't really seem to mesh. Anyone know any others who teach well around the city?

Thanks

Ben Wood for sure, and there are others. I think Alex Simon might teach as well. Tom Landman would be another one to ask. Fine players, nice people.

I'm sure there are others as well. These three just popped into my mind.
I've never been a guitar player, but I've played one on stage.
  • Thanks. I will investigate all three.

I got taught by Ben before I went off to college and he worked really well, knew what he was talking about and his schedule was much more flexible than Stephane's, recommend him for sure.
  • Thanks. I contacted Ben and am just trying to work my schedule out.
