Unbelievable that DFNW has lost two of it's headliners .... some ticket buyers will be unhappy for sure

I suspect that Robin is more in the know than DFNW.

I wonder if it is a financial thing or if someone dropped the ball. I see that the Rosenberg Trio have a gig in Moscow at the dfest there on September 22.

Hey, I just bought my Djangofest Northwest tickets on Saturday, and the very friendly ticket person said Angelo Debarre canceled due to tendinitis. She said Samson Schmitt will be replacing him at the concert *and* at the workshop.

Bummer....haven't seen Angelo since 2004 and was really looking forward to seeing him. Wonder if this means the shows can now be held in the intimacy of the WICA theater and not the lousy sound at the high school? Glad I was there for the early years when we saw the best shows at the WICA theater; nowadays WICA sits empty on Friday and Saturday nights - a waste of a premium theater space.
