Swing Gitan - composer or original artist?

Who is the composer or original artist of "Swing Gitan"? The lead sheets I've seen say "Traditional", but all the recordings are by modern artists, nothing from the Goldern Era of Swing. It seems like a more modern tune to me.

The oldest version of the tune I have ever encountered is on an old LP by Andre Dedjean from the 70s where it's called "Stephane Stomp".
