I bought this pickup recently and it sounds really great. It was easy and quick to install and right away the strings were balanced and it didn't have a hot B string like Stimers. I played it through my Unico and an electric amp and it sounds really clear and warm through both. It also sounds pretty acoustic-like for a humbucker, especially through the Unico. Of course I was able to turn it up really loud and had NO feedback. With the putty you have more options of placement on the guitar, and it's a lot thinner than a Stimer so it works for guitars with low action/bridges. It's lighter, more balanced, and a lot cheaper than a Stimer, so its definitely worth checking out.
