Does anybody have a head chart (chords and melody) for Les Fenetres de Moscou? The version by Titi Demeter is beautiful, and I know Moreno has done a version of it as well.

    I have been looking for this one for a while myself. I am constantly in the middle of trying to transcribe it every time I hear a new version because I like the tune so much but never really get any where hahaha

    Well here is Boulou Ferre's hip harmonisation of Les Fenetres de Moscou--with 'BlueNote' voicings in the first bar.Remember the melody starts 3 beats before the first chord given here (Bdim is on the first downbeat)
    Bars with 2 chords are always two beats(strums) per chord---hope it makes sense --great tune!!
    (Transcribed from Boulou and Elios' performance on U.S radio show "Jazz Club Paris" c.1990)

    |Bdim F7|F#7#5|B-7 C#dim|B-7| E-7|A7|D6/9|D#dim|

    |E-7|A7|D6/9|Gmaj7|C#half dim|F#7|F#half dim|B7|

    |E-7|A7|D6/9|Gmaj7|C#half dim|F#7|B-7|B-7|

    Thanks Jack and Stu.

    Stu those changes are hip for sure. What do you mean "bluenote voicings" I have a feeling I know them but maybe have never heard them called that.

    By Bluenote voicings i just mean the use of the diminished chord --actually what Boulou plays is B dim in the first positon with open bottom E so the first 3 chords go up chromatically with e f and f# in the bass-with the D as top melody note on the chords----those rising chords are something i always associate with Hard Bop.If you could hear Boulous version you'd hear what i mean--alas i only have it on an old C-90 cassette so can't upload.Nice changes though aren't they?

    a little late, but here it is.I found it in the french guitar magazin Guitarist acoustic no 32
    and made a lead sheet. The chords in paranthesis are from Federic Belinski

    this is a great tune;
    d-c music school has thca limberger doing "chord voicings - Moscow windows" that is worth the price of admission - 24.99 -
    in the style of Tcha Limberger - guitar
    full of cool stuff
