This guitar has been built in May 2009 by Yohann Cholet, guitar maker in Le Man, France.
Not often enough mentioned in the US, Cholet has acquired a well deserved reputation competing with the new generation of French guitar makers, like ALD, Mazaud, Marin etc...

The soundboard is in Cedar, the neck in Mahogany, back and sides in Indian Rosewood.
14 frets, long scale. Low action: ~ 2.5mm at 12 fret, makes it a breeze to play.
Excellent condition. No scratches, no dings.
The body is more like a Favino, and so is the tone. Not to mention that the combination Cedar / Rosewood gives a very explosive sound with an un-matched volume / sound control and a very dellicate / warm tone similar to the Favino guitars.
This is a wonderfull guitar, but I need to finance a restoration project for a DiMauro Chorus.
The guitar is in France now. It was worth 2800 Euros new, to be sold 2000 Euros shipment included.
