What amp to use with a DYN-G?

I'm using a Shertler DYN-G with the PRE AIII preamp, and when I run direct I find that the sound is fairly good. However, running into an amp, I'm not all that impressed with the sound. I've tried some different amps....Fishman, Acoustic Image, an older Crate, etc....never tried any of the Shertler amps though. Can anyone relate any experiences or share what amps work the the best with the DYN-G? I would greatly appreciate it.

The Schertler amps are made to work with the DYN so they are your best option. Generally the DYN is so clear and mic like that it only sounds good through very even, transparent amps like the Schertler or Acoustic Image. Most other "acoustic" amps are built with piezo pickups in mind so they tend to cut a lot of highs and boost lows which totally mangles the DYN or any other clear mic like signal.
