installing pickup

hi guys

I wonder if it is very difficult to install a pickup inside gypsy guitar. Let's say I want to buy Gitane DG 255 or Cigano DJ 10. They come without pickups and one needs to buy pick up and install it inside the guitar. Do you think average luthier can do this job? Is it risky to install pickup? Does it make more sense to buy guitar that comes together with pickup? well, those are probably very expensive guitars

please, help me in this matter

Any competent luthier should be able to do it without undue risk. How difficult it is depends on the type of pickup, and the job may be more challenging on an oval hole guitar because of the small opening. On a D hole, you can get your hand inside very easily. Schatten sells a special tool designed for mounting their pickup in an oval hole.
