Here are two MP3s of Adrien live with the DR Big Band on Jan. 22, 2010 -- Appel Indirect and Impressions. They're different than what's on the CD; they were recorded live.
This aired on French radio a few weeks ago and was posted online by some folks on the Guitare Jazz Manouche forums.
I don't completely understand what you are saying 8) . Do you mean the band's arrangement is uninspired? I was just curious hearing the radio broadcasts, but maybe they're not really worth hearing.
I'm not really a fan of Adrien Moignard, never really listened to him, but I thought the arrangements by the Danish Radio Big Band on some of the tunes were fun to hear. I can agree it might not be gypsy jazz, perhaps one should just call them arrangements.
I meant that when Django's solos are played by the big band, they do not sound like what most people consider to be gypsy jazz, they just sound like great jazz arrangements. The band itself plays well as does Moignard. I liked it.

Yes, picked it up on eBay a few months ago -- it's fantastic. Highly recommended.
