im selling my hahl to get a vintage gypsy guitar,,its made in hahl's workshop and finished at 97,,it has been in dorado schmitts possesion for a time and then sold to anoyher gypsy jazz guitarist in germany,,it has 2 cracks in the top just below the tail peice witch has been repaire with glue,,its visable but does not affect the tone or structure of the guitar in any way,,its been checked by several dealers\louthiers in denmark just to get their opinion,and they all agree it no issue,,the neck is not a typical gypsy neck its more like a regular jazz guitar,not chunky at all,but slim and fast,like the old ibanez artist series guitars loved my artist,supernice .
It weighs next to nothing but sounds like a gunshot when played upon,
it has a bigtone installed witch hahl has build and it sounds great,,im trying to record the guitar both aucustic and jacked in so i can load it up here,,pictures to follow..
mayby a trade with a favinostyle guitar is something i'd consider..!

The guitar is still for sale,,soon to be shipped of to djangobooks.
This guitar was build for Dorado schmitt,he said this was one of his best guitars,and that he was sorry he ever sold it,he played it the entire consert that he held here in copenhagen for about a month ago,,i was verified that the 2 cracks in the top was caursed by his brother Tchavolo schmitt who dropped it on the jackoutput,,it was then glued and has held together since,,this happend in 1999,,so its a real gypsy damage:),,and the sound of this guitar is best described as bone dry,,very bassful,allmost archtop like,,for chords it has the favino qualities,dry and loud,,a superb instrument.

New frets, and a full checkup,the guitar is great and still for sale,,i would prefer to sell it in europe becaurse of the tax in the usa,,so give it bid,,if i dont sell it now it will stay with me,,the price is a bit high but compared to what a new one costs and not to mention the pettigree i think its fair,,for a new gitano model now is about 6000 euros,my asking price is 4000,,it has a great bigtone pu instaled and ill get some sound clips ready for potential buyers in the middle of next month,,bon swing

Thanks for all the offers on my guitar,,im not interested in trading anymore,i got my new gypsyguitar and is a likker,,the Hahl , however is still for sale, i would as i mentioned preveously , preffere to sell it locally,, europe, but if not, then im happy to ship it abroad. im sorry for the lousy sound on the clips of the guitar, im in the making of a new video of the guitar both amplified and not,,ill be back.
