Strap Button On Dg-350?

I know this is against the ancient code of the gypsy, but I like to stand when I play, and I am having trouble finding how to put strap buttons on this model. So the bottom pin is easy, its the neck pin that I am challenged with. My heel is very slim so i cant put it in from the back or the lower side. I am thinking that maybe i can put it on the other side by the 13 and 14th fret... What do you guys think? Will it get in the way?
