Tony Gatlif "Swing"

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get my hands on (or at least watch) Tony Gatlif's movie from 2002 called "Swing". Everywhere I look it seems to be out of stock.

I have it, but it is not available in English as far as I've seen. Very hard to find commercially....

Yeah I know, but there are english subtitles aren't there?

I don't believe so. Latcho Drom does has subs in English, though.

Actually, Swing does in fact have English subtitles (at least the video store in my town has VHS copies with them).

My copy that I bought of an e-bay seller in Canada has sub-titles.

Is that on a DVD, CalebFSU? I've never seen English subs available on a digital copy and I've searched all over...

...By the way, is that a boy or a girl? (just kidding).

There was one copy of Swing at my store on DVD and it certainly had subtitles.
Sadly, some jerk swiped it so now I'm forced to go all old school and fire up the VHS.
I mean seriously,....who does that?!?!

It's hard to find copies of Gatlif's films that work on DVD players in the US, with or without subtitles.

The prices on ebay aren't nearly as bad as amazon, might just go for that if nothing else. Just gotta be careful since a lot of them won't play in the US or don't have English subtitles.
