I would suspect that the notes in the auction literature were taken from an interview and possibly it was the writer of the piece who merely tranlated what he heard phonetically.

Anyone know of any examples of Clapton recording or playing out with his Dupont? There's a couple of cool clips on YouTube of Hank Marvin (the guy from the Shadows) playing some reeaaally nice GJ in Autralia and djamming with Fapy (I think at Samois).
