Philadelphia, PA✭✭ Siwa and Figli Super Cobra 18" Keyboard
Hello Djangobooks Accordionists,
I just wanted to tell you I have a site up and running for my Musette Project http://musetteproject.com. I've got some great personnel involved, including Barry Wahrhoftig of the Hot Club of Philadelphia. I just put up some video from the Djanguary festival in Virginia from this past weekend. I thought you all may be interested in seeing what I'm up to.
The group has been around since October of 2010. And we are located in the greater Philadelphia area. I like to play the swing musette of Gus Viseur and Tony Murena/Colombo, and we also do quite a bit of Jo Privat as well. (his rhythm is so unique). Hope to work in some New Musette soon as well as some of the American swing accordion stuff (Joe Mooney etc).
