I'm not the most organised person, so I would find it difficult to regiment my practice strictly into 1 hour for this 1 hour for that. Some days I will work strictly on rhythm and on another it will be licks or whatever.
Something I have found though is it's best to not rush but to really try to master whatever I'm working on. for example, when you learn a solo, don't half learn it. Play it over and over along with the recording. At first at a slow tempo and very gradually increase. Playing along with Django to ensure you are getting the phrasing correct. Literally the same thing hundreds of times.
