Hi Folks:
I already have a thread going in Archtop Eddie's Corner, but thought I would check in here, too, for your specific expertise.
At Django in June this year a local cinema will be showing a Django-related film and some of our staff and Django Camp participants will be providing music. We've got a strong violin contingent coming this year, so I thought I might suggest something that would give us the opportunity to feature them and highlight Grappelli's contribution to the tradition.
Apart from the Grappelli documentary and The Red Violin, I'm drawing a blank. I'm wondering if any of you can recommend good films that feature violin or violinists. If it also has a French or Swing angle that's extra points.
It can't suck, though!
Thanks for any help!
~Andrew
