This is the firsts thing I've ever heard of Stochelo. No Nousche and no Noni but amazing nonetheless!

in my opinion, the disc that made them superstars was the live at northsea jazz fest 92.... it was my first gypsy jazz album well over 10 yrs ago!
My first one, too, Denis, and my next favorite after Live in Samois. The Northsea one is fantastic, but there seems (to my ears) to be more maturity in their playing in the later set. From those first notes of Rose Room, I'm totally hooked.

Yeah, that one is with Jan. I finally sat down and figured out the intro/outro and chords for that one. I'll post it in the other thread that I started called 'the Zebra'.
