Hi,
I figured I throw this up on this forum as I'm not just a fan of Gypsy Jazz, but an artist as well. This one is a departure from my usual pictures in that it I did it just for fun. This small painting depicts a trio I got see perform live in Brooklyn, New York. It was a fabulous show with lots of musical virtuousity.
The performers from left to right are: Jonathan Joubert, James Robbins and Stephane Wremble.
It titled "Gypsy Jazz At The Bar Tabac, Brooklyn, New York, December 3, 2010". Oil, Collage and Graphite on Masonite. © Sol Robbins.
Hope you enjoy it!

HCQ, hey, that's cool. I've been to Bar Tabac and your painting captures the feel perfectly. I like Wrembel squeezin' it out. Oh, yeah!

Sorry about that as, for some reason I coudn't upload an image directly from my computer.
Craig, Thanks for the compliment.
The response to this picture has been overwhelming. So much so, that I am researching a site that folks can purchase affordable prints but top notch quality prints. Its very humbling and I'm very appreciative.
Best,
I found a place that offers high quality prints on archival paper at very fair prices.
The link appears above. I would like thank everyone here for the many positive responses and complimentary words.
Best,
