Does anyone know what year this is from?
Does anyone have a transcription of Django's solo?
Thanks

It's from 1940. (Integrale #10-2)

Thanks!
Do you know what year is the 'classic' version from that everyone learns Django's solo (below)?

Has anyone seen a transcription on line of the 1940 version?
Thanks

Oh, so that's a later version. Thanks for the info.
It seems like I saw a transcription of the 1940 version on a site that had transcriptions for sale recently.
Does anyone have a link to that site?

Hi SF,
That looks like the 1947 version. I'm looking for the 1940 version.
I could have sworn I was surfing the forum and ran across a link for a site that sells the 1940 transcription for like $6 but I can't find it again.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Don't know anything in particular, you might have some luck looking at sites like this to weed it out:
http://members.tripod.com/marc_masselin ... ptions.htm
but at that point it might just be worth using slow-down software and transcribing it yourself.

Yeah, actually I'd rather just do it myself (more satisfying and better ear training). Just don't have the time right now plus too much backlog of solos I want to transcribe!
So many solos, so little time....
