    I suspect that he's using Galli Silk and Steels - I know they (the Trio) endorsed them for a while. Whatever they are they sound very soft, though no doubt helped by Stochelos guitar AND technique.

    It is an unusual sound for a gypsy jazz guitar but he is using a pickup and there is quite a lot of reverb. Wonderful playing!

    It's not nylon strings though. never seen four wound strings on a nylon

    Pretty sure it's just an Eimers with regular Gallis (silk and steel) and a Bigtone pickup.
