Hello,
I'm selling a very rare instrument. It's a 1930's Marius Guitar. The ancestor of Selmer guitars.
I saw the same guitar on the Leo Eimers Guitars web site (
http://www.eimersguitars.com). He responded personalty to my emails and confirmed the rarity of this instrument. He also said that this guitars were really well made and sound beautiful with a lot of bass, perfect for "la pompe". you can see Leo's Marius guitar here:

I purchased that guitar in France. This guitar had some restorations made in 2010 by a famous French Luthier. The shape is unique and plays really well.
An inside pencil mark says in French "restauré par mougenot luthier, olivet ,1956" meaning "restored by Mougenot Luthier, Olivet (town) in 1956"
Everything is original on it: Tuners, Nut, Bridge, tailpiece, etc...
12 cases outside the body
The upper bout is 12 1/2 inches and the lower bout is 16 1/4 inches.
Soundhole is 4 inches Diameter
The action is under 5 mm.
The depth is 4 inches by the neck and up to 4 3/4 inches at the lower bout.
I'm looking for a serious offer right here but I'm open for negotiations. Feel free to email with your number and I might consider it.
Thanks,
