Don't want him to pass without recognising it, or perhaps just spreading the word to folks who don't know the guy.
Not a music reader or theorist, but has a rhythm/timing ability that is jaw dropping. Technique speaks for itself.

Al, Paco, and John are incredible.
I have one album of the three boys; Passion, Grace and Fire (1983). They were some group, would have loved to have seen them live.
I also listen to Carlos Montoya, Paco Pena and Bernabe' de Moron
