Thanks for the review. I haven't heard of this problem before so I wonder if you got a bad batch. I tried out the Bosset strings for a few months and they seemed to last longer than the Argies and were still quite bright and supple.
Ultimately these things are personal and any given person's guitar, playing style, aesthetic sense, and even body chemistry can work together to make a particular string work or not.
