For sale: 1968 Fender Princeton Reverb silverface amp. 1968 was the first year for the silverface style amp. This amp is freshly re-capped and biased and is modified to Blackface specs, w/sovtek power tubes, blue label Fender speaker and original tank. Excellent covering and grill cloth. I think the spec is about 15w - it's plenty loud. The sound is incredible - with a Stimer or other wide-bobbin single coil pickup, you can get the fat 50s Django sound or add a little extra reverb and get that old-fashioned 1960s "Chope des Puces" tone. Of course, with your Strat or Tele - perfection. I've had this amp for nearly 20 years, it's never been abused - I take care of my equipment. Photos on request. Price is $1000. Packing and shipping will be as described in this article http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showth ... p?t=288817 and thus will not be cheap, but it will be the exact cost and no more.

This is a superb amp for this kind of music and I hope it finds a home here. Will go on to ebay in a week or so.
