the new bireli transcription book gives us a glimpse into the amazing guitar playing of bireli and exemplifies many aspects of the gypsy jazz guitar style. a good selection of tunes from all 3 gipsy project cds. the transcriptions illustrate bireli's inventive solo playing, long solo phrases,melodic lines, motive fragments ect... it's easy to read and appears to be fairly accurate. the book has guitar chords boxes to indicate the changes ( which could be a little better) all i all its a good book, which gives some insight in to bireli's great playing.
