Tchan-Tchou & Matelo

I'm looking for CD recommendations if anybody cares to offer up their 2¢

Currently my top two favorite recordings are:
Matelo Ferret - Tziganskaia
Tchan-Tchou Vidal - La Gitane

I really like this type of playing and recording quality. It seems to be more gypsy and less jazz (more so on Tziganskaia than La Gitane).

I've got Les Freres Ferret and some of the Jo Privat stuff as well and it's good too though most of the recordings are a bit older and lower fidelity.

I'm sure there are a bunch of albums and artist off my radar so if you have any suggestions I'm all ears.

Thanks

    Thanks Barengero,
That's a great site and I just discovered and purchased "Comme Autrefois" by Bero Landauer Trio.

That's a great recording and I'm sure I'll find others through djangostation as well.

    Thanks again,
    Sean

Don't forget the Baro Ferret Swing Valses cd if you don't have it yet, to me it is the companion piece to the Matelo and TchanTchou discs you already own.
