Heres a couple of new videos shot on my new camera.Hope you like them. The guitar is an MJS guitar made by Godefroy Maruejouls.
Hansche Swing is based on the jazz standard The World is Waiting for the Sunrise but with an extra 'manouche' middle eight.
"L'Ame des Poetes" is a beautiful slow waltz by Charles Trenet--this version is based on Boulou Ferre's version
"Ballade for Django" is a free improvisation using 'campanella' scales at the beginning. These are played by utilising a combination of fretted notes and open strings.

great recordings! But I think the correct title of the first tune is Hänchi Swing, not Häns´che Swing. It was composed and first recorded by Kaatchie Rosenberg, Falko Reinhardt and Sani van Mullem in 1994.

You're obviously a stickler for accuracy Barengero!!....you're not a teacher by any chance? :-)
Anyway thanks i willl change it!!

Most of the credit for L'Ame des Poetes should go to Boulou Ferre who used to play it years ago.
Thanks anyway!
worse than that, Stu: I am a lawyer and sue anyone who tries to sell a "Hühnchen" as a "Hähnchen".
Best,
