Keep saving and keep trying guitars until one comes along and speaks those special words to you. If you are in tune with your intuition you will know when the right one comes along.
My Dunn Ultrafox is a magic guitar .... it tells me what to play. I just have to listen LOL
The Magic really starts to happen when you can play it with your eyes closed
spiro,
You need another guitar. One is enough to develop chops, but once you really want another, you need another!
I've no more advice. Its kinda your quest and nobody else's, but would agree with Jazzaferri, "you'll know".
I've been lucky enough to be able to get out and test out lots of guitars. It's very disconcerting, but I've often listened to all the guitars on my computer and gone off all hot and bothered to buy a guitar having heard it, only to find that when that great sounding guitar (in the vid) is in my hands, its nothing like I expected. Also the reverse is true, the one that I listened to and passed over (in the vid) was the one I kept hearing in my head and came back to buy.
Its a drag having to actually be there with the guitar I'm gonna buy, but there's no alternative for me. I don't hear videos very well I guess.

I agree that it is possible to lower action on any guitar.
But on some guitars it would drastically change tone, probably to worse.
