I'm a guitar player from Slovakia and a big fan of gypsy jazz, although I like and play a lot of guitar styles and techniques. But my playing is certainly influenced by gypsy jazz. You can hear it maybe in some of my tracks..

you should have introduced yourself as an electric guitar player here, it wouldn't be a problem even if it's a forum about django's music, everyone is open-minded here !

Hi Peter

Some of your stuff reminds me a bit of Stanley Jordan, you might be familiar with him. He was living here in Madison for a few months a while back before he took off for Europe. He does Jazz, pure tapping only. He tuned his guitar in fourths, so his technique is almost playing piano on a guitar. In fact he used to set up two on stands and play them simultaneously. Check him out, he's on Youtube.
