Anyone know how ticket sales are going? I decided to wait until the last minute in case they pulled another bait and switch like last year (last year, no Stochelo and no Angelo).
Also, any word why John Jorgensen isn't there this year? Am wondering if his crack about Sarah Palin in one of his songs (also performed there in January) upset some of the more conservative Whidbey Islanders. Am going to miss him and his clarinet playing this year!
You might see if there is an earlier shuttle (try Shuttle Express) that takes you just to the ferry at Mukulteo instead of taking the Whidbey Island Shuttle all the way to Langley. Then take the ferry, and then call 360 321-0203 for a cab to take you to Langley.
I hear there's a room open for DFNW week at the Country Cottages of Langley Bed and Breakfast if anyone still needs one... The Country Cottages are very nice and only about two short block's walk to WICA. If you're interested, check with 'em fast -- 215 Sixth Street, Langley WA 98260

Weather forecast is looking generally good for the weekend. Thursday night there might be some sprinkles or rain. But otherwise warm sunny days up to 72F and cold nights into the 40s are predicted. See http://www.atmos.washington.edu/data/disc_report.html

For folks camping at the fairgrounds, expect heavy dew in the mornings.
