Castellucia style D-hole

neillneill portland ,englandNew
Anyone out there have, or could point me in the direction of any info, sizes, dimensions etc for this style D-hole, is it called a 'bean hole' maybe.. just trying to find out as I like the look of them and a friend may be building a guitar for me and I'd like him to possibly to make one like this..
Thanks in advance,
Neill.

    Hi Neill,

I own one of those, but it is on loan to my bandmate for a gig tonight. I'll try to get you some measurements and send them to you as soon as I can.

Neil, are you sure you dont mean Patenotte Guitar? These are the only guitars that Ive heard of with hole described as beans.

This is a vintage Castelluccia D hole.

I wouldn't describe is as a "bean," by any means. It is smaller and more rounded than the standard Selmer D hole. Some Favinos sport similar sized sound holes:

Thanks for all the pictures, yes not a bean hole, my mistake - the vintage Casteluccia is the one I'm after, like a D hole but slightly smaller, looking for dimensions, pictures etc - my friend is starting out building these guitars (as a hobby) and he has the templates for the normal oval and D holes - I'm being difficult and want one like the vintage Castellucia!
