I actually have a Dell Arte Hommage on Craigslist in San Diego. It is probably the best deal you will see since it is near mint condition. The action is at 3.5 mm now but can be lowered since it includes 2 bridges and a set of shims. Take a peek.

My search has ended. Thank you all very much for your generous time and advice. Armed with the education I gained for the most part from this forum, I drove down to Ailin Colin's personal "show room" in San Diego, checked out several Dell' Artes and bought a Homage.
Anyone in Southern California (or Mexico!) considering a Dell' Arte, there is a treasure in San Diego. Take advantage of it.
