Come enjoy and celebrate phenomenal music by Adrien Moignard and Ben Powell in the style of the acknowledged masters Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, as well as what’s happening now on the gypsy jazz scene. Franglais from Brooklyn will be on hand as well as Louisville's own Gypsy deVille.

Master Classes from 1:00 PM to five p.m.

Free Concert at Cralle Theater- Wyatt Hall, Bellarmine University at 7:30 p.m.

Open jam session starting 10:30 at The Bard’s Town after the concert.

Guitarist Adrien Moignard_Based in Paris, Moignard has been a serious guitarist since childhood. He is a longtime devotee of the music of Django Reinhardt and American jazz, and is one of the most sought-after guitarists on the contemporary Gypsy swing scene.

Violinist Ben Powell_Django collaborator Stephane Grappelli’s influence on Powell’s’s playing is unmistakable, and performing in the Hotclub style is his personal celebration of the Grappelli/Reinhardt tradition—and his own contribution to the current worldwide revolution in Gypsy jazz.

Gypsy Jazz Band Franglais_Franglais blends the rhythmic drive of gypsy jazz, the nostalgia of French chanson, and the distinct soul of American music.

Master Classes are $40.00 for a single class and $60.00 for two calsses. Due to time constraints it's only
possible to attend two classes. The classes are being held at the Clifton Center, 2117 Payne Street_Louisville, KY 40206
