    ......I bought a #2 Dupont bridge for my first GJ guitar back in 2004 - Gitane 250m (maple model) but then the action was too high for me - 4 - 4.5 mm coupled with a too thin neck depth width. Josh Hegg then tweeked the intonation on the factory bridge and it was spot on. I did like the solo lead note lines with this guitar, but the rhythm was somewhat muddy sounding and was not clean and defined! I think the polyurethane finish was too thick, even though the maple wood on back and sides was beautiful!

    Would a #1 typically be the best fit for a DG-255?
