Cigano GJ15

rimmrimm Ireland✭✭✭✭ Paul doyle D hole, washburn washington
Played one for the first time yesterday-best guitar in its price range by a country mile. Its dry, feels light in the hands like a hand made guitar (must have went easy on the laminates) and brilliant altogether. I'm buying one and aging it somehow to look a bit more like its been round the block. If you need a jamming guitar or even for gigging this is the way forward-old news I know but its a way better option than the Gitanes 8)
I got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell

"some" of them are, indeed, great. But they are quite variable on quality, from guitar to guitar. They've had a few in the local Hobgoblin, & half of them have, as you said, hands down beat the Gitanes on everything (unless you hate a slim neck, in which case, get something else). But half of them have been pretty terrible.

So, being right-handed, pick one carefully.

Should be even better with a decent bridge!

Speaking of the ageing, I've read some accounts recently of people artificially ageing their guitars in sun beds...I can't say i support this method but I'd love to watch the reaction of the salon owners :)
