Looking for advice on archtop tuning machine upgrade

MikeKMikeK Asheville, NCNew Altamira M-10, Epiphone Zephyr Regent

I need new tuning machines on my Epiphone Joe Pass. Can anyone make some suggestions? The old ones are corroded & slipping a bit, I'm sure they're the original tuners and the guitar must be 25+ years old. I'm not concerned with how they look so much, just that they work well. Thanks in advance.

I can't recommend Waverly tuners enough. I always thought, tuners are tuners. But I got a set of these. They are VERY nice. $$$$ but nice.

Paul Cezanne: "I could paint for a thousand years without stopping and I would still feel as though I knew nothing."

Edgar Degas: "Only when he no longer knows what he is doing does the painter do good things.... To draw, you must close your eyes and sing."

Georges Braque: "In art there is only one thing that counts: the bit that can’t be explained."

Thanks for the tip, Littlemark. I'll order a set of Waverlys and let you know how they work. And Lango-Django, thanks for the link.

Check the hole size, geometry, etc. Unless you don't mind modifying the peghead.
