Very nice, interested to see what yo think of it. Might be just the photo but the shape seems a little different than the one I have.

It's at the top of the food chain. It really is a nice pick, material feels great. Not slippery in hand. One of quietest I tried when it comes to pick noise. Does incredibly well with the pick release (or roll-off ), I.e. slides across the strings with such ease. The side tips give a wonderful soft tone and that's what I used the most today. Sharp tip is good too, chimey. We'll see how it wears. Some of the materials that Jokko is using would wear and get scratchy but once the bevels get shaped according to my playing it would be fine. The only thing I wish is that it was thicker. I went back to thick picks after years of using 1.5-2mm. Bottom of the pouch is all those, except the Primetone which is 3, but majority of the time I'd use one of Blue Chip. Top is all 4mm except the 4G pick. 4G is such an awesome pick, now I'm glad I got it.

I'll take a picture with the same orientation but the overall shape is the same. I'm not sure if the bevels are done the same. On yours, the bevel seemed more pronounced but with the zebra stripes on this one, it's harder to tell.

This image reminds me of people posting pictures of their watch collection! 😂

Ha, a rotating pick display would be the ultimate decadence.

Buco, very nice! What model is that? I was just comparing next to my "Manuoche" model in safari and yours looks a little bit more rounded at the shoulders.

Well 4G pick, made by Jokko and sold by the gypsyguitars.de It's the approximation of the Guzz pick with all three sides being usable: solo, rhythm, ballads, going from sharpest to roundest.

I didn't want to start comparing immediately, I'm just going to use it for at least a couple of days. But I keep thinking the sound with the fat 4mm picks was exactly that, fatter. Not louder, just deeper. 4G pick brings more mids but rounds off the highs very nicely, it's very warm sounding.

I would've gotten the no dimple version but it wasn't available is this material (only original tortoise and ivorin). Though it didn't bother me yesterday.

We'll see, sometimes I get a new pick and after the initial excitement wears off I go back to whatever I was using previously. But I don't think I ever liked a pick immediately the way I did this one.

Ahh, suddenly this thread makes way more sense - I had no idea the Guzz was a pick! Feel free to mock and insult me now lmao

And yeah, liked we talked about earlier I've purchased quite a few picks from Jokko as well...really surprised to hear he couldn't make you this model without a dimple, he's always been able to do that for me with his "Manouche" model (although I do prefer and buy 3mm so maybe it's a 4mm thing).

There's just something about that safari material as well, has a really nice tone in comparison to some of his other materials imo.

Lol I sensed something is up so did a short recap there. I've never had a Guzz pick in my hand but apparently there are a lot of fans out there.

But 4G pick isn't really Jokko's brand. He's just sort of a subcontractor for the gypsyguitars site who designed it along with Gizmo Graf.

By the way, @moderators could you break off this thread into another one titled 4G pick? Almost all of it is about it.
