Thanks for all the input everyone, much appreciated! Well looks like the mozes Rosenberg model already sold so I think I'm gonna go with with the electric chorus model, but I see the bridge and tail piece are more like a archtop , kinda curious if this will still be loud like a gypsy guitar or if it's gonna be much quieter like my dangelico archtop
Ask for the standard bridge and tailpiece, shouldn't be a big deal to swap. He's got pics of the Chorus model with standard bridge and tailpiece.
@Buco awesome thanks just sent them email back hopefully they can
I got to play a similar looking Shopis with the CC pickup mounted into the top. It was a cool guitar, and from what I understand it sounds great when amplified, but it couldn’t keep up in an acoustic jam. That may be fine if that’s not a priority for you, just something to keep in mind.
The Eimers Nympheas you mentioned is fantastic in every way.
I emailed eimers a couple weeks ago have yet to hear from them
Whats peoples thoughts on a the stringophonic 503s that are for sale?
In that price range, I don't think you're going to find a better guitar. Plus, who doesn't want to buy a guitar from @geese_com?
If you're looking for a step up from an Altamira, the Stringphonic 503 basics are a great choice. They have 4 braces and are lightweight which contribute to sound.
Then go to Django in June and play a lot of guitars. It's tough to know what you're ultimately looking for until you hear it and play it in context.
Well i decided to go with the stringphonic!
