Oh that's awesome! Let us know when you can share more details. A local coffee shop is using the Clever dripper. I like the coffee from it a lot, very flavorful. It's the design that incorporates both the French press and pour over methods.
And I wasn't completely unproductive, I had this idea the other day and started working on it and decided to have my third coffee and record both. It's going to take more work to really get shaped but these are some of the parts.
Even among the excess of Chicago's specialty coffee shops, flat white isn't common?
You can see it written on the menu in several places. But when you order that, what you get isn't really a flat white. You'll usually just get served a smaller latte.
I don't know how to make it, but a barista that knows how to steam the milk properly for a flat white will not give you a frothy and foamy drink. There are no air bubbles visible, the foam is very fine ("flat") and has a velvety texture with a consistency and appearance sort of like melted marshmallow.
@Buco, I should have mentioned that the stuff isn't cheap! I mutter under my breath each time I leave the store. But it goes great with ice-cream too in spite of my high cholesterol. Are you just having it in a shot (or two) of espresso - no milk?
To mention something that has to do with this topic, recently, for the sake of being quiet when practicing late at night, I started playing with my fingers, the bass player style. Which is what Matteo is doing except I think he's using all of his fingers. What was interesting is that a few times I tried this in the past my fingers were so uncoordinated that for some weird reason I would make mistakes with the left hand over the lines that are absolutely solid when I play with a pick. I'm nowhere near playing anything this way but super slow, but it's getting better.

Lol I get carried away...

Guess what's in it?
Very tasty!
Does anyone know which of Angelo’s Swing Gitan solos he’s playing along to?
Thanks
Good question...I pulled a few up quickly when I first posted this but couldn't zero in on it.

It's cheaper than the 18-year-old bottle of Scotch that was on sale which I was eyeing to get... But ultimately didn't...
Just espresso and Kahlua one to one ratio.
Ice cream on top...that's taking it too far for me, lol
