There's a guitar festival coming in October and this year both Stochelo & Mozes and Antoine Boyer are booked. 😦 Oh boy what I'm gonna do. The tickets are quite pricey (for me at least) but I haven't met this kind of opportunity in a long time. If I have to pick one I'll go with Stochelo but something tells me that Antoine will be the star of this event. He's young, he's hungry, he's versatile and at the top of his game. There's a competing event that came with Diknu Schneeberger a few years ago (where I went to) but what has been spamming classical guitarists ever since. And now this. I'm stunned.

Check if Stochelo and Mozes will share the stage at some point, that way it's like 2 for 1. Antoine is awesome of course but his versatility also means you might hear the least Gypsy jazz from him.
@Buco Ah, yes, I should've been more correct. Stochelo and Mozes are coming together with a project where they play Charlie Chaplin's music, but obviously in their own style.
I saw their Charlie Chaplin themed set last year at the Nice Jazz festival and enjoyed it a lot though many of the tunes were unfamiliar to me. Just seeing and hearing the two of them in person was such a buzz.
They did include a couple of non CC tunes also.
